Uses of Mucomix Injection
Acetyl cysteine is used for the treatment of liver toxicity caused by paracetamol overdose. It is also used to thin and loosen the mucus in the airway due to certain lung diseases (bronchitis, pneumonia) and for the relief of dry eye syndromes associated with deficient tear secretion..

How Mucomix Injection works
Mucomix 400mg Injection is a mucolytic medication. It loosens thick mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe, and lungs, making it easier to cough out. It also works as an antidote in paracetamol poisoning by replenishing the body's stores of glutathione, a chemical that removes toxic substances.
